From Oscar-winning director Ron Howard, We Feed People spotlights renowned chef José Andrés and his nonprofit World Central Kitchen’s incredible mission and evolution over a dozen years, from being a scrappy group of grassroots volunteers to becoming one of the most highly regarded humanitarian aid organizations in the disaster relief sector. 3 PM: Community Food Solutions Showcase
Stay after the film to meet local organizations that are creating a resilient food system in Santa Barbara County and improving access to healthy food across the region. Visit the Mobile Farmers Market, and learn about cooking classes, local produce and seafood delivery services, sustainable farming techniques, preventing food waste and more.
