The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns for two nights of exhilarating mountain adventures at larger-than-life scale. Featuring the world’s best films on subjects ranging from ice climbing and high-altitude ballooning to mountain culture and the environment, the tour delivers adrenaline-packed thrills alongside profound messages about human potential and the natural world. An entirely different program of films screens each night.

Desert Wings  (United States, 2023, 4 min.)
Explore some of the most dramatic desert landscapes in the American Southwest with a little-known flying sport called paramotoring. 

Soundscape  (United States, 2023, 14 min.)
Soundscape shares the sightless experience of climbing a massive alpine rock face deep in the Sierra Nevada via echolocation, touch and imagination. 

Driving Sweep  (United States, 2023, 10 min.)
Follow river guide Katie Veteto as she learns to drive one of Idaho's iconic 4,000 lb sweep boats down the steep, rocky rapids of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. 

Chronoception  (France, 2023, 40 min.) 
This timeless ski and snow adventure traverses one of the most remote places in Asia: the Kokshaal-Too range on the border of Kyrgyzstan and China.

Daughter of the Sea  (United States, 2023, 18 min.)
In this story about how nature can help us find ourselves, Jaeyoun Kim returns home to Mara Island, South Korea, where generations of women in her family have worked as free-diving “mermaids” who harvest seafood from the ocean floor.

Sea to Sky Trail Series: Progression  (Canada, 2022, 12 min.) 
Follow along as two innovative trail runners dig deep on the west peak of Ch'ich'iyúy Elxwíkn, the Twin Sisters (or the Lions), an iconic Sea to Sky trail.

Eternal Flame  (Switzerland, 2023, 26 min.)
Eric Jamet and Antoine Pecher combine their ascent of Nameless Tower in Pakistan (6200m) with one of the most beautiful BASE jumps imaginable.
