Colson Whitehead is the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of unforgettable novels such as The Underground Railroad (winner of the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award), Zone One, John Henry Days and The Intuitionist. He was named New York’s 11th state author in 2018, and his 2020 book The Nickel Boys also garnered a Pulitzer Prize, making Whitehead only the fourth writer to win two Pulitzers for fiction. His highly-anticipated new novel, Harlem Shuffle, will be published in the fall of 2021.
