How to Watch

Together stands with Atul Gawande's classic, Being Mortal.” – Malcolm Gladwell

Vivek H. Murthy, MD, served as the 19th Surgeon General of the US, 2014-17, where he created initiatives to tackle our country’s most urgent public health issues. In 2017 he began to focus his attention on chronic stress and isolation as problems that have profound implications for health, productivity and happiness. He is the author of Together: The Healing Power of Human Connection in a Sometimes Lonely World, clearly a topic with special relevance in 2020. In this timely fireside chat followed by a Q&A, Dr. Murthy will talk about his work on loneliness and the current state of public health and take questions on these critical topics.
