Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis
“A state-of-the-art large ensemble, producing a remarkable range of orchestral color and considerable solo firepower.” Chicago Tribune International jazz ambassador, nine-time Grammy winner and Pulitzer Prize recipient Wynton Marsalis returns with the legendary Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO), comprising 15 of the nation’s finest soloists, ensemble players and arrangers. The remarkably versatile orchestra performs a vast repertoire ranging from original compositions and newly-commissioned works to rare historic compositions and masterworks by jazz greats including Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Dizzy Gillespie and many others. In an evening full of Marsalis and JLCO’s infinite charm and warmth, they’ll display the full vigor and vision of America’s music.
