An Evening with the Founder of Patagonia

Yvon Chouinard

Protecting Public Land

Tue, Feb 9
7:30 PM Pacific
With the pandemic causing national and international artists to cancel their tours and with the continued restrictions on public gatherings, we regret to announce that we are canceling Arts & Lectures' live/in-person events scheduled for February-May 2021.

"Patagonia's philosopher-king... Yvon Chouinard turned his eco-conscious, anti-corporate ideals into the credo of a successful clothing company." The New Yorker

A moderated conversation with Yvon Chouinard and featuring clips from Patagonia’s recent film, Public Trust. In a time of growing divisions, Americans still share something in common: 640 million acres of public lands. And yet, they face unprecedented threat from entrenched industries and regressive politicians. This conversation will explore the future of our public lands and our planet.

Presented through the generosity of
Heather & Tom Sturgess

Additional support provided by Forces of Nature series sponsors Audrey & Timothy O. Fisher in memory of J. Brooks Fisher
