Paul Hawken is a pioneering proponent of corporate ecological reform. His groundbreaking books on commerce and the environment include Natural Capitalism: Creating the Next Industrial Revolution, The Ecology of Commerce: A Declaration of Sustainability and Blessed Unrest: How the Largest Movement in the World Came into Being and Why No One Saw It Coming. Hawken has consulted with heads of state and CEOs on economic development, industrial ecology and environmental policy and has founded numerous ecologically-conscious businesses.
